I liked this book。 I didn't love it nor was the story completely compelling/interesting。 I thought the perspective was eye-opening。 The books looks at Mad Max's history and some of the events in the Stranger Things series through Max's eyes。 The author did a solid job of writing in her voice。 I've been enjoying these little forays into the characters between seasons。 This one was worth the read。 I liked this book。 I didn't love it nor was the story completely compelling/interesting。 I thought the perspective was eye-opening。 The books looks at Mad Max's history and some of the events in the Stranger Things series through Max's eyes。 The author did a solid job of writing in her voice。 I've been enjoying these little forays into the characters between seasons。 This one was worth the read。 。。。more

A fine addition to Stranger Things universe。 If you haven’t seen the show， you shouldn’t read the book。 There is no real context given to what’s happening and no real drivers to the story beyond what you should already know about the show。

It made me appreciate season 2 more。 It was nice to have Max’s backstory and connect some dots。 Quick， fun read。 It would be cool to have her thoughts and descriptions about how season 3 went down。

Me ha transportado a la segunda temporada de la serie y eso me ha gustado muchísimo。 He podido conocer los pensamientos de Max en prácticamente cada momento de esa temporada。Lo que no me ha gustado tanto ha sido cuando empezaba a hablar sobre su pasado， me ha gustado conocerlo pero esos capítulos me han parecido un poco aburridos。 🤷🏻♀️De todos modos recomiendo este libro a los fans de este personaje que quieran saber un poco más de ella。

Nevím， nevím pro mě to je asi tak 3/5。 Takhle， mega mě to nalákat na 4。sérii Stranger things。 Od knihy jsem očekávala， že se víc dozvím o minulosti Max。 Něco jsem se dozvěděla， ale za mě né moc。 Zas co musím říct， tak to bylo fakt čtivý a mega mě to bavilo。 Byli tam věci， které v seriálu buď nebyly nebo jsem si jich nevšimla。 Jsem z téhle knihy v rozpacích。 Scény jsou z takových 65% že seriálu， což mi nevadilo， ale mohlo tam být víc originality。 Ostatní knihy z téhle série byly lepší。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Creo que no aporta demasiado a la trama de la serie pero ayuda a comprender el comportamiento de Billy y de Max en los hechos de la siguiente temporada y a contextualizar porqué siempre pelean。 Max suele profundizar mucho sobre la vida que tuvo en California junto a su padre y del porqué a veces tiene un temperamento rebelde el cual se va acentuando con el pasar de la lectura。 Pude leerla en español latinoamericano así que es la lectura no se me hizo pesada de comprender respecto a variaciones e Creo que no aporta demasiado a la trama de la serie pero ayuda a comprender el comportamiento de Billy y de Max en los hechos de la siguiente temporada y a contextualizar porqué siempre pelean。 Max suele profundizar mucho sobre la vida que tuvo en California junto a su padre y del porqué a veces tiene un temperamento rebelde el cual se va acentuando con el pasar de la lectura。 Pude leerla en español latinoamericano así que es la lectura no se me hizo pesada de comprender respecto a variaciones en nombres de las criaturas en el castellano de España。 Sólo lo recomendaría a fans muy entrados en el universo de Stranger Things， de lo contrario se aburrirán。 。。。more

Originally， Steve was supposed to be the “bad guy”。 Billy instills a fear I had of similar boys when growing up。 You knew to stay quiet and be small。 Billy made such a better “bad guy” character。 I liked this book， bc altho you get to know Max， you don’t get to know her intimately like the first season characters。 You definitely didn’t know she lost all her Cali friends due to Billy。 I don’t she’s as angry as most people see her to be。

Tohle rozhodně nebyla nějaká překvapivá nížka， která by vám o Stranger Things řekla víc než jste věděli ze serálu nebo než jste si odvodili。 Každopádně jde o kus druhé série převyprávěný Max （čtěte jako nejlepší postavou）， takže pokud se chcete na chvilku vrátit do toho světa a třeba i nahlédnout， co si o tom všem myslí Max， tak vám knížku moc doporučuji。Na druhou stranu， pokud jste ze ST nebyli unešeni a nebo ani Max nemáte rádi， tak vám tohle opravdu nic nedá。Hodnotila jsem 3，5/5*
